Why Blog?

By Pastor Chris

This is just an update of why blog? I have done a lot of reading on the potentional ministry of blogging. SOme pastors are for it and some are against it! However, it is my prayer and hope that members and visitors get a since of who there pastor is. Blogging is like journaling. I share my thoughts and insights on topics…to encourage, not offend. Blogging is an edifying tool for minsitry in my opinion. It also allows for me to express myself. And it let’s you see the real me as you read about my vicotories and hurts. It let’s everyone know that we are in this journey called life together. But we don’t walk alone…God is with us and we have eachother.

Blogging for the fun of it!

I wonder why a pastor would be against it?

Pastor Chris: Once again my family is in pain and in need of prayers. I log onto the internet looking for ???????? type in Broadman Baptist Church, end up on your blog (this is a second time occurance) Your blog has helped me greatly. I have read words of faith and love from a pastor that I admire and believe in; this is not an everyday happening, this is not a new blog but once again God is blogging my mind and letting me know you and the church are there. Please keep your words blogging with the spirit I feel from them
