How Do I Know What They Stand For?
ByKnowing who and what a politician stands for is extremely important. To me the character of the person we elect to govern us is the most crucial issue. What do they stand for? Who are they? Who do they associate with? What policies have they promoted? What are their positions on the issues?
The Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention has put out a voters guide that lays out the positions of both presidential candidates and parties, based on their own responses. There is no commentary, simply the direct response of each candidate and party. Please take the time to look over what the candidates and parties stand for so that you know who they are and can make a conscientious, educated, God-honoring vote.
