Amazing Grace how sweet the Sound!

We know the Song…now it is time we become part of the story. Amazing Grace Sunday is coming up on Feb 18. It will be a special time for beleivers around the globe. Every church is encouraged to sing the hymn Amazing Grace. Our hope is that the words will echo new in our souls. I pray that everyone will come to realize how AMAZING God’s love is for us.

John Newton wrote the Hymn. He was a Sea Captian of a slave boat. It was on a mission that he discovered the Grace of God and then he penned the words to Amazing Grace. We have a lot to learn from John Newton…we have a lot to learn from one another. We have all sinned and fallen short of God’s glory…no one is righteous, not one! We are so depraved and so seperated from God’s ways.

May we realize the power of God’s Amazing Grace to save us, forgive us and restore us. May we live by the Grace that opens our eyes…I once was blind but now I see. May we be changed to live for God’s glory and His purposes. God wants to free us from our sin…that is Amazing Grace!!!!
