GENERAL POLICIES

This section is provided for members and visitors.  Many people have done a lot of work to present the best Church Handbook and Children/Youth Handbook as possible.    We believe these documents are good for our church and may possibly benefit others; the content is thus posted for others to take ideas and use for the glory of God. 

Permission Slips and Volunteer Forms are available for download.  A Ministry Handbook is to be available after April, 2009.  We truly hope the Handbook and Policies portion of our website helps you understand who we are as a people of God.  We strive to serve our Lord with excellence.  These handbooks help demonstrate our willingness to function and operate for the Glory of God.

Broadman Baptist Church has a Church Handbook and a Children-Youth Handbook that give specific operating guidelines.  The Deacon body serves the Body of Christ as servant leaders ministering to assigned families fulfilling the Biblical aspect of Deacon in the church.  The Church Council serves as a pastoral advisory team for all the ministries of the church helping the pastor fulfill the Biblical aspect of being the Elder of the Church.

From time to time it may be necessary to establish a published policy not addressed in the Handbooks.  Such policies and procedures  will be placed under this area to establish standard operating procedures for the good of the Christ’s church at Broadman Baptist.
