SALVATION

SALVATION |
At Broadman Baptist Church we believe that mankind is loved by God and it is God’s love for us that compelled God to send His Son to redeem all of mankind and reconcile us into a real relationship with Himself. |
| There is a problem however! God has provided the redemption and has made the way for us to be reconciled. But we have to take a step of faith and accept His grace that is freely given. We have to confess our sin, that is all the mistakes we have ever made in our life that keep us separated from God and in a fractured relationship with Him. The only way to overcome this separation is to accept what Jesus (the Messiah) did on the cross for us…His blood atones our sin and He becomes our Savior when we surrender our life to Him. |
| John 14:6 Jesus said, “I am the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE; no man cames to the Father but through me.” |
| Acts 4:12 says, ” There is no other name under heaven given to man (but the name of Jesus) by which man might be saved.“ |
| Romans 10:13 tells us that anyone “Who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.“ |
| Today, will you make Jesus your Lord and Savior? Will you call upon His name? Will you confess your sin and follow Him? Will you receive abundant and eternal life? |
| If your answer to these questions is yes, then pray this prayer right now: “Lord Jesus, I come to You surrendering my life to your Lordship. I confess my sins to you and ask your forgiveness. I ask you to come into my life, it is my desire to follow you all the days of my life. Thank you for saving me and thank you for being my Lord. Amen!” |
| If you just said that prayer you are now a follower of Jesus Christ and have eternal live. Your next step of faith is to follow through with believer’s baptism and to find a church home that teaches the Word of God and will help you in your walk with the Lord. |
