A Church That Makes a Difference!

Bible Studies

Sunday morning Bible Study classes begin at 9:45 a.m. and are offered for preschool through senior adults. Quality nursery care for infants is always provided.

  • New Beginnings – John & Lindsay Parker, Leaders
This group is organized for singles or couples in their early 30’s to mid 40’s but all ages attend. These topical studies are usually DVD driven followed by discussion.
  • Truth Seekers – Rev. Rick Mangrum, Leader
This class meets in the choir room off of the fellowship hall. It is structured to reach the life stage of young and middle-aged adults. This fall they will begin a year-long study by Ann Spangler, “The Names of God.”
  • Harvesters – Robby Snyder & Bill Stockdale, Leaders
This class of middle-aged adults meets near the church office in the education wing, but all are welcome! They use Lifeway’s Explore The Bible series and will be studying through the Bible books of Exodus and Leviticus this fall.
  • Fellowship Class – Bill Moore & Jerry Richardson, Leaders
This class is primarily for ages 55 and over but is also open to anyone. They are studying through Exodus and Leviticus this fall. Fellowship with them on the first Friday of every month for breakfast at the Stow Cafe.
  • Children’s Classes

Wednesday Nights:  Beginning in September Rev. Rick will teach an abbreviated study of Christian Apologetics – a basic look at the worldview of an unbeliever and Biblical principles to build your faith to accurately stand firm.
