LIFE IMPACT GROUPS

WHAT? LIFE IMPACT GROUPS are intended to meet people where they are in life and then impact their lives with the transforming power of having a relationship with the Risen Lord, Jesus Christ. Scripture-study and fellowship with other believers are fundamental.

The Life Impact (Sunday School) courses of study for 2010 changed as of January 10th. Read about the classes on the front page of the January 2010 Broadman Beacon.

LIFE IMPACT

WHERE? We currently offer five adult LIFE IMPACT GROUPS through Sunday School. We provide classes for the entire family. We encourage you to become a part of the Sunday School and Bible Study experience. (Access the CHILDREN/YOUTH tab for that education schedule.)

This class is for collegians and ones just entering the workforce. The class is well-suited for ones in their early to mid-20’s though there is no age requirement. This class meets in the Harvesters Classroom near the church office in the education wing. This class is for those middle-aged to retirement but all are welcome. Singles and couples attend.

We are going through the GOD SIGHTINGS material which will take us through the entire Bible this year. The God-Sighting NLT Bible and Companion Guide are available for $17. We complete the companion guide in class then focus on a portion of scripture that was read during the week. Bill Stockdale is the teacher; read Bill’s TESTIMONY.

LIFE IMPACT

This class meets in a room in the education wing of the church. Primarily for ages 55 and over, this class is open to anyone who has an interest in interacting with more mature adults. Singles, couples and ones of any age are welcome to worship God in the Fellowship Class.

This Class sponsors a monthly Senior Breakfast — but ones of all ages are welcome to attend.

Women’s Study — A women’s Bible study group meets every Tuesday at Charlotte Moore’s home at 7 p.m. [except during August 2009] A BETH MOORE study was recently completed.

Men’s Study A men’s Bible Fellowship Group meets every other Friday at David Baughman’s (sessions facilitator) home at 8:30 p.m. Read Dave’s TESTIMONY.

Singles’ Fellowship Group (COMING SOON) – This group will consist of singles of all kinds (never married, divorced, widowed, etc.) and will target those in their 40′ and 50’s but is open to all singles of all adult age groups. Contact RICK MANGRUM for more information.
