A Church That Makes a Difference!

Our Beliefs

Broadman Baptist Church is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention. The SBC refers to both the denomination and its annual meeting. Working through 1,200 local associations and 41 state conventions and fellowships, Southern Baptists share a common bond of basic Biblical beliefs and a commitment to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the entire world.

As members of Broadman Baptist Church, we ascribe to the tenets of the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. We are proud to be a part of a network of churches that together make a global impact for Jesus Christ.

Our core beliefs:
God
There is one and only one living and true God. He is an intelligent, spiritual, and personal Being, the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe. The eternal triune of God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The Bible
The Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God’s revelation of Himself to man. It has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth, without any mixture of error, for its matter.
Salvation
Salvation is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. There is no salvation apart from personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord. Those whom God has accepted in Christ, and sanctified by His Spirit, will never fall away from the state of grace, but will persevere to the end.
People
People are the special creation of God, made male and female in God’s image. By free choice, we sin and rebel against God, and only His grace can restore us to right fellowship with Him. Every person of every race possesses full dignity and is worth of respect ad Christian love.
Religious Liberty
A free church in a free state is the Christian ideal. All men are to have free and unhindered access to God and to have the right to form and communicate opinions in the sphere of religion without interference by civil powers.
